I have been busy like crazy crafting. Something that comes at random and leaves behind little trinkets to enjoy. So for a short briefing on the creativity I have been doing. The best way for me to explain is show it off! A photo album is one way of showing off your treasured family and friends so this is an array of photos and snid bits of info on some of them. Going into detail is not really my thing lately so here is a fast forward version of how creativity has flowed into reality...... ENJOY
Finishing my thesis dresses....
| The front of the dresses will all resemble this design as closely as possible. |
| The back of the dress. This is missing the rouched back panel but is pretty much complete. |
This picture is one of the satin circular flower clips that are popping up on many things lately. These are simple and quick to create and I have made them in several colors while watching tv late at night. (This is when most of my creativity sets in.)
The feathers piece was an oversight on the purchase of feathers for hair extensions. (another venture I partook in this week. **Pics in the future.) This lovely set of feathers were attached to a pad on the backside and I improvised and created another style of headwear for my little girl. She adores bright colors.
The last red, black and white bows are in honor of our move to a new school. Something that we have worked hard to get into and it has changed our world like nothing else could have. We are proud to be where we are and I couldn't wait to show it. (Literally I made these the night we moved in so that my kiddo could have them to wear!)
Holidays are great when it doesn't cost a fortune to fund them!!!
An Easter basket I put together myself for around $10.
** I purchased the LPS doll on clearance at Kmart for $4.50 and the peeps at Walmart for $0.98 a piece for 2 boxes and the bucket, airheads and carrot candies at the Dollar Tree for $3) The grass filling, bow and cellophane I already had on hand in my gift wrapping supplies. This is one of the best baskets I have ever made or seen for that matter. And the plus side is the bucket can be used later for storage! This was a big hit with my kiddo! **
More random creativity....
Last but not least a necklace I made this week. I have been trying my hardest to not purchase any more craft supplies before I use up what I already have and this project help to dwindle my bead collection. (And yes I have an obsession with making jewelry too.)
